Grade 2 School Supply List

2009/2010 

*The following is a list of supplies that are requested for second grade. All supplies will be shared among all students in each classroom, except for the pencil box and scissors which will be returned at the end of the year. Do not write your child’s name on any supplies, except for their own pair of scissors. Please do not purchase rolling backpacks. Second grade students are not required to carry home any books and we do not have the space to accommodate that size backpack in our smaller second grade classrooms. Thank You!

      1 Small pencil box – Approx. 6” x 8”

      2 Dozen Glue Sticks – White or Clear, no colors

      1 Pack of 24 Crayons

      4 Dozen #2 Pencils – Sharpened

            1 Box Markers (Washable) – Thick and Thin Point

            5 Yellow Highlighters (thin)

      1 Box of 24 Colored Pencils

      6 Sharpies – Fine and Extra Fine (black)

      4 Magic Rub erasers

      4 Folders – Bottom Pockets – Solid color,

                  no plastic, no pattern

      1 Folder for homework, your choice

      1 Scotch Magic Tape (green package)-1” refill

      2 Reams 20 lb. bond photocopy/printer paper

            2 Pump Hand Soap

            3 Rolls Paper Towels

            2 Small Bottles Elmer’s Glue

            2 Boxes of Kleenex (tall, cube style)

            2 Containers of alcohol free disinfecting wipes

      (no baby wipes)

            1 Package Crayola Model Magic (white)
